Working for the Community

The Lafayette County Social Services Committee was formed to create collaboration throughout Lafayette County by pooling resources and working together to effect change.

Goals:
a. Information, resources and activities sharing (regular meetings; attendance; share info)
b. Problem solving to address community goals and issues (Take action when needed)
c. Develop new resources for the county (Create new partnerships)
 
The Social Services/Connectors group meets the third Wednesday of the month at from 9 a.m. 10:30 a.m. at the Lexington United Methodist Church at 1211 S Hwy 13 in Lexington.  There is a different guest speaker at each meeting.  To become a Connector or have your organization become involved in this program, your organization/agency must be a member of the HCC General Membership to attend the meeting.
