Psychologist – Lexington

Julie O’Donnell, PhD, is a licensed psychologist who has been with Live Well Community Health Center in Lexington since September 2020.  She graduated with her Bachelor of Arts degree from Missouri Western State University and earned a master’s and doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Texas Woman’s University in 2016. Dr. O’Donnell provides therapy sessions for adults and adolescents as well as psychological assessments. She grew up in rural Iowa and after raising her children, returned to college to earn a degree in psychology in order to provide mental health services to underserved and rural communities. Before her move to Missouri, she provided services at a community mental health center in Kansas.

Our community-based programs include case management, counseling and assessment, health education, transportation, translation services, enrollment assistance, health and social care advocacy initiatives, access to primary care, and health IT.

After more than a decade and nearly 50 new employees later, it’s safe to say that the Lexington, MO-based HCC Network is a major player in Lafayette County and in rural health care in this region.

The focus of HCC is to develop and implement programs that are responsive to documented health needs of county residents, with specific health status indicators as benchmarks of progress.
