There are no out-of-pocket costs for COVID-19 testing, however bring insurance information and photo ID if you have it. Follow-up calls will be made to every person tested. Anyone can be tested – no matter where you live and you don’t need to have symptoms. Testing is also conducted at any of the Live Well Community Health Centers. We recommend this testing for individuals who had symptoms at least 14 days prior to testing, but have no symptoms at the time of the antibody test.
If you have symptoms (fever, fatigue, cough, sneezing, aches, pain, chills, runny/stuffy nose, sore throat, diarrhea, headaches, shortness of breath, loss of smell or taste) please self-isolate and contact a provider immediately. There are no out-of-pocket costs for COVID-19 tests and antibody screenings.

A COVID-19 test is a nasopharyngeal culture and is sent to a private lab for processing. Results take approximately 1-3 days. Patients are asked to quarantine until results are provided.

Antibody testing is a screening tool to determine if you have been exposed to the virus within a certain timeframe. Antibody testing results take 1-3 days. The blood test is sent to a private lab for processing. This screening tool is not used to diagnose or establish immunity to COVID-19.

The federal government, through Operation Warp Speed, has been working since the pandemic started to make one or more COVID-19 vaccines available. Currently, two vaccines are authorized and recommended to prevent COVID-19 in the United States.

Please be aware of these symptoms and call a health care provider if you have:

● Cough and fever
● Shortness of breath
● Trouble breathing
● Chills – sometimes with repeated shaking
● Muscle ache and/or headache
● Sore throat
● Loss of taste and smell

Emergency warning signs include:
● Trouble breathing
● Persistent chest pain
● Confusion and inability to arouse (lethargic)
● Bluish lips or face
