Student Resources & Clinical Training

HCC Network supports training our future health care professionals at our clinics. Our providers and clinic staff serve as teachers and mentors for health professions students during their clinical training.

In an effort to promote health careers and grow the rural health care workforce, HCC partners with the West Central Missouri Area Health Education Center (AHEC) to provide learning opportunities to “grow our own” health care providers for the future needs of our rural communities. High school and undergraduate pre-health students may request to shadow a health care professional and health profession students may request a clinical rotation, internship, practicum, or other community-based learning experience.

For questions regarding shadowing or training, please contact Stephanie Taylor, AHEC Director, at stephanie.taylor@hccnetwork.org or call 816.617.2353.
