Our son, Ethan has had many health challenges and over 20 surgeries to date. Some of his health issues caused major dental problems for Ethan with the enamel and tooth growth. This meant he didn’t like to smile, dealt with kids making fun of him at school and we visited multiple dentists who were unable to help him. The kids that made fun of them at school always said to him, “You need to brush your teeth,” which led to him never wanting to smile or have his picture taken. Ethan’s dad, Todd Blansit, recounts sharing with his wife his frustration over not being able to help their son. Our family was introduced to HCC Network through Oak Grove community members – the high school football coach was friends with our family and his wife, Toniann Richard, CEO of HCC suggested we bring Ethan to see Dr. Peterson. Within 5 minutes of Dr. Peterson looking at Ethan’s mouth he said, “I’ve got it, I can fix this.” Ethan’s dad shared, “This changed Ethan’s life. His confidence, the way he’ll smile now, even just being in pictures. Now we bring all of our kids here and refer everyone we know. Dr. Peterson and his team have been a game-changer for our family.”
