Dental Assistant Training Program

What is HCC’s Dental Assistant Training Program?

This program is open to individuals looking to begin a career in the dental field. We offer in-classroom and hands-on clinic training through our network of clinics.

When Should I Apply?

We encourage students to apply as early as possible. We open applications for the next session in January of that year. Our Dental Assistant Training Program starts every year in August.

Who Can Apply and What Does the Program Look Like?

Anyone is eligible to apply if they are over 18 years old. We accept high school graduates as well as non-traditional students who are looking for a career change. The program is two week days per week for nine months and prepares the students for certification as a dental assistant. Didactic training is August through December with clinicals running January through May. At the end of the program, students will test for certification as a dental assistant. Our current pass rate is 100% with our graduates often receiving job offers before they graduate from our program.

Investment

$1000 for students to enroll, this includes textbooks, training and testing fees.
Commitment to attend two week days for the length of the program.
