Vaccinate for Good Health

Ready for your COVID-19 vaccine? Register for and schedule your vaccination.

Vaccines (immunizations) are the best way parents can protect infants, children and teens from harmful diseases. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) states that vaccine-preventable diseases can be serious and can cause hospitalization and, in some cases, death. This is especially true for infants and young children.

Adult Vaccines

Adults need protection from preventable diseases throughout their lifetime. What follows are important vaccines for adults:

  • Flu shots – all adults.
  • Tetanus, diphtheria and whooping cough or pertussis (Tdap) – all adults who have not previously received the Tdap vaccine.
  • Pneumonia (pneumococcal) shot – adults 65 years and older with specific health conditions.
  • Shingles – adults 60 years and older.
  • Hepatitis B infection – adults who have diabetes or who are at risk for hepatitis B.
