HCC Rides
Bridging the Gap in Rural Transportation
HCC Rides, formerly a partner of Missouri Rural Health Association’s HealthTran, is an innovative transportation program bridging the gap in public health access. The program, launched by HCC Network, serves patients in Lafayette, Ray, Carroll and Eastern Jackson County, offering rides to and from their primary care, dental, and behavioral health appointments within a 30-mile radius of our clinics.
Rider requirements:
- Must be able-bodied. We do not provide mobility assistance.
- Must live 30 miles or closer to an HCC clinic.
- Under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
How It Works
Patients request transportation when they make their appointment. The transportation scheduler will confirm availibility and contact you regarding your pick-up time. HCC drivers wait at the clinic until the appointment is over and then drives the patient back home.
