Licensed Clinical Social Worker – Carrollton/Waverly

Michelle graduated from UMKC in 2018 with a Master’s in Social Work. She is licensed to practice in both Missouri and Kansas. She has a heart for survivors and people dealing with emotional pain, which is why she has spent years working in mental health, education and child welfare settings. Although she enjoys working with individuals of all ages, she especially enjoys working with children and adolescents. Michelle’s professional interests include evidence-based therapeutic models, prevention programs, strengthening families, meditation, mindfulness and yoga. “I believe in a whole-person approach to therapy and practice from that foundation.”

Our community-based programs include case management, counseling and assessment, health education, transportation, translation services, enrollment assistance, health and social care advocacy initiatives, access to primary care, and health IT.

After more than a decade and nearly 50 new employees later, it’s safe to say that the Lexington, MO-based HCC Network is a major player in Lafayette County and in rural health care in this region.

The focus of HCC is to develop and implement programs that are responsive to documented health needs of county residents, with specific health status indicators as benchmarks of progress.
